Small Groups
Larry Crabb in his book "The Safest Place on Earth" describes community or connectedness between men on their walk to spiritual development. He says that, in community, men find a safeness and similarity among themselves that allows sharing and the crushing of barriers. The men of Light of Christ are not only crushing those barriers, but eliminating them totally in their lives. Come join us as we offer a multitude of opportunities to connect:

Mens Turning Point Cleanup
Every year, we gather to help do yard work, paint, and other maintenance chores needed at the Turning Point location in Woodstock.  So bring your rakes, clippers, trimmers, shovels, brooms, gloves and wheelbarrows with you.  We generally work from 9am to 2pm but come for the amount of time you can offer.  It's a wonderful feeling to give back.  To sign up please email John Wright.

Spring Golf Outing
Saturday, May 11th after Men’s Breakfast at Pinecrest Country Club. You don’t have to a scratch golfer to enjoy a round of golf with the LOC men.  It’s all about having fellowship and some fun. First tee time is 11:10am.  Cost $57 includes prizes for longest drive and closest to pin.  We have reserved space for 16 golfers but we’ll do our best to get more spaces if needed.  So register early and specify if you have someone else you would like to be in your foursome. Monthly Men's Breakfast 
Set your alarms and join us at the LOC Annex at 7am, breakfast is served at 7:30am.  We meet the second Saturday of the month.  We will cook up a hearty breakfast and talk as only men can talk!  There is often a speaker and we will dive into conversation about the real issues that men face day to day.  It's a great place to jump into Men's Ministry, non-intimidating, and always great food.  Bring a friend, check us out, get to know Light of Christ from a man's perspective.  There is no charge!
