Cancer support group for Women

Ladies; have you, or do you currently have cancer? Do you know any other women who had or currently have cancer? If so, please join us for our CANCER SUPPORT GROUP FOR WOMEN. Our first meeting will be on October 4, 2012 from 7-8:30 pm downstairs in the Living Room. This is a faith based group where women can come together to share their troubles & triumphs and support one another. More information is available at the connection center or by logging on to CCB. It's Time to Connect with Other Christians!
Small Groups

There are many small groups at Light of Christ including Bible studies, book studies, social groups and special interest groups. Small groups are a great way to meet God face to face and see what it means to be connected with Him through other Christians. This is the way to get to know people at Light of Christ as you explore God's Word, connect, serve and play together. So jump in; there are women's and men's groups as well as mixed groups. Small groups are always forming for ongoing weekly and monthly gathering or short 6 - 8 periods around special studies/activities.
 		  

 SOS - Support our Soldiers:  Don and Leslie Empie lead a group at Light of Christ for people who have family or friends serving in the military, or are simply looking for a way to help support our troops. This group is a place not only to talk with others, but will be organizing efforts to support the men and women serving our country.  This group is for anyone with family or friends serving our country anywhere in the world. Pastor's Wednesday Morning Bible Study
Join Pastor Kendall each week as the group digs into Scripture.  This time will include study, discussion and teaching regarding the book of Romans, an amazing letter in the New Testament.  Stop in if you are interessted, no registration required.  For more information, call 847 658-9250 ext. 10.
