Algonquin/Lake in the Hills Interfaith Food Pantry (located now at 1113 Pyott Road in Lake in the Hills) provides temporary access to food for families in need living within the boundaries of Algonquin and Lake in the Hills who are unemployed/underemployed, homeless, individuals with disabilities, elderly and children.Food Pantry hours are:
Tuesdays & Thursdays and the 1st & 3rd Saturday of each month from 9:30am to noon.
Souper Bowl of Caring: On Super Bowl weekend we will be collecting non-perishable items and monetary donations (make checks out to LOC and mark in the memo "Food Pantry") for the food pantry. Our Youth will be helping with this collection during worship services. Ongoing donations are gathered in the food pantry bin inside the front main doors at LOC.
