Fox Valley Habitat for Humanity helps people in need by building and renovating houses to create home ownership opportunities. LOC offers opportunities for you to help with all aspects of home building with construction and non-construction volunteer opportunities available. You do not need to be an expert in construction to help out on a work site. There are many tasks that require only a willingness to learn and work with others. Every effort to incorporate all willing volunteers regardless of skill level. All volunteers on the construction site must be at least 16 years of age or older. We will work rain or shine!May 31st and June 1st 2013 work at 1404 Windsor Circle in Carpentersville close to route 25.This is a family with 4 children in a split level house. To sign up for one or both days click here. We need a week's notice to inform the project manager of how many volunteers from LOC will be coming on the specific day.
