PRESCHOOL

We provide a faith-based community built on the foundation of Christ's love for all. LOC Preschool is an environment where families and school work together to insure a strong foundation for each child to grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.

OUR MISSION

Our Mission at Light of Christ Preschool is "to recognize, respect, and develop the uniqueness of each child." Established in 1991, the school's primary mission is to instill a love of learning in each student. Our curriculum skillfully weaves artistic and practical disciplines into everyday academics. Students learn in a developmentally appropriate environment that is academically enriched. Students will learn to work both independently and cooperatively with others.

We are licensed by the State of Illinois and are currently accredited by:

Parents of our children consistently commend our programs for preparing their children for success in elementary school. Additionally kindergarten teachers value our program's ability to provide both academic and social skills preparedness for the next stage in children's educational career.

At LOC preschool, we celebrate God's love for all children. We strive to instill integrity, compassion, and confidence in each child. We give each child support and encouragement to become his or her own unique self.

AWARDS

Light of Christ Preschool has been selected for the 2022 Best of Algonquin Award in the Preschool category by the Algonquin Award Program. As a past receipient, this is an honor we are so grateful to have chosen to receive again in 2022.
