WEEKEND SERVICE

TEAMS

Weekend Services Teams are comprised of the Worship Team (Vocalists & Musicians), Welcome Team (Greeters, Ushers, Communion Servers, Coffee Hosts, Connection Center Hosts), Production Team (Sound, Video, Projection, Lights, etc.), Altar Care Communion Preparation Teams (before and during services) and Bread Bakers (at-home), and Scripture Reading Teams. These are the teams that make worship happen on the weekend - and we need YOU!

CHILDREN & YOUTH MINISTRIES

Our programs for children and youth provide a fun, age-appropriate environment where they can be transformed by God's love and guided by Jesus' truth while making wonderful new friends. Serving opportunities exist both mid-week and on Sundays. Some roles include serving on Dinner Teams, Tech Teams, Teaching Teams, Nursery Care Teams - or as Small Group Leaders, Classroom Teachers and Assistants - the possibilities are endless!

ADULT MINISTRIES

Adult Ministries are helping people to grow in their faith and connect with others in real and authentic ways every week - which means there are all sorts of ways to serve in Adult Ministries! Various ways to serve include: Small Group/Bible Study Leaders; Senior's, Women's, Men's, or Couples', or Sports Ministries Leadership and Event Teams; and iCare Allies.

ADMINISTRATIVE

TEAMS

If you are in possession of trade-specific passions or skills or have strong administrative gifts, there are some critical ways we could use your help serving at Light of Christ. We have Office Administrative Teams, Outreach Marketing, Business Management, Hospitatlity Team, and Property Teams that help make life at Light of Christ happen.

Jesus calls us to "love our neighbor", so we've strategically created opportunities to consistently be serving our surrounding community. A few of our Community Care ministries include: Food Pantry, Golden Diners ("Meals on Wheels"), Branching Out Tutoring, S.O.S. (Servants Out Serving), and Turning Point - to name just a few.
